Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary Senior Art Director with a passion for conceiving and conceptualizing innovative marketing initiatives. The Art Director will also lead the execution of creative campaigns that blend storytelling and visual innovation. The goal of this role is to transform marketing and branding strategies into cutting-edge campaigns that can incite the desired reactions from our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Anghami brand identity and our various customer segments
  • Develop and clearly articulate creative visions for advertising and marketing projects
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative and culturally-sensitive advertising concepts that effectively communicate Anghami values and attract our target audiences
  • Oversee the creative process from inception to final execution, providing feedback and guidance to team members while fostering a collaborative environment
  • Stay up to date on cultural trends and consumer behavior in the MENA and GCC regions, to tailor advertising strategies and storytelling to various cultures
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing and content, to ensure that campaign materials are aligned with the overall campaign goals
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in Design and Project Management, and provide recommendations to leverage the latest tools for enhancing the creative process and general work flows

About You

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as an Art Director or a similar creative leadership role within an advertising company or creative agency.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of branding and visual storytelling, especially in the MENA and GCC markets
  • You have an outstanding portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work, demonstrating expertise in various mediums, including digital, and video.
  • A track record of successful creative campaigns that were originated and executed by you are a major plus
  • You have in-depth knowledge in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate artistic concepts and ideas effectively.You have sharp attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and visual impact.
  • Languages: advanced Arabic and English, French is a plus
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and experience in animation is a plus
  • You are passionate about music!
