About the Role:

As the Music Marketing Executive, your role is to create and execute ground-breaking marketing campaigns and artist programs to attract new audiences and bring the Anghami brand closer to current and potential customers. You will build strong partnerships with local labels, partners and talented artists to elevate Anghami’s presence in the MENA music industry.

As an ideal candidate, you live and breathe music. You know the rising music trends in the MENA region and you know how to promote hits in-app and on social media.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Establish partnerships with local labels and artists to promote Arabic content and increase app traffic.
  • Oversee music release schedules and effectively communicate marketing strategies across internal teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential hits in the MENA music industry.
  • Develop innovative marketing campaigns tailored to regional preferences.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve engagement.
  • Foster relationships with industry stakeholders to enhance promotional efforts.
  • Collaborate with content, social media, digital, production, and creative teams to implement strategic content plans for Arabic music.
  • Develop and expand social media concepts, generating innovative ideas based on current trends.
  • Develop and launch artist programs that emphasize Anghami’s commitment to nurturing talents.
  • Track song performance metrics and produce detailed analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in the music or entertainment industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Music, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Arabic music in the MENA region and among the Arab diaspora.
  • Passion for Arabic music.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media and social media marketing.
  • Languages: fluent in Arabic and English
  • Proficiency in creating presentations and spreadsheets.
  • You are a self-learner and a team player.
