About the role:
As a Junior Legal Councel you will review and draft licensing agreements with record labels, publishers, independent artists, studios, and production houses; handle rights management, royalty-related legal matters, and video content clearance across multiple territories; and support compliance with industry regulations, including licensing and broadcasting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review various commercial agreements including vendor contracts and partnership agreements
- Support compliance initiatives related to digital rights, data protection, and content regulations
- Provide legal guidance on day-to-day operational matters to both platforms
- Monitor regulatory developments in the MENA region's digital entertainment industry
- Assist in preparing legal documentation for corporate governance matters
- Support the senior legal team in litigation and dispute resolution- Help manage intellectual property portfolios for both platforms
About You
- Law degree from an accredited university
- -1-3 years of experience
- Strong understanding of intellectual property rights and digital media regulations
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- French is a plus
- Knowledge of MENA region entertainment industry regulations
